Shakespeare plays a FRENCH LORD on stage

A view of the stage, with a sign telling us that we are in a country lane; lighted candles indicate that it is night, and there are trees and bushes at the back. Shakespeare is stage-right, performing as a French lord dressed in Elizabethan military uniform. He looks angry as he jabs a finger at a terrified Paroles who struggles in the firm grip of two soldiers

LORD Throca movousus, cargo, cargo, cargo.

ALL Cargo, cargo, cargo, villianda par corbo, cargo.

PAROLES O, ransom, ransom. Do not hide mine eyes.

LORD Boskus thromuldo boskos.

PAROLES Oh!

LORD Manka revania dulche – oscorbidulchos volivorco.

All's Well That Ends Well, Act 4 Scene 1
